Even though this is the "About Us" page it is really about you.
We are inclined to remind those who would consider currency trading of the following.
We think of ourselves as no different than the local hardware store where you would purchase or rent a tool for your garden. How you use that tool is entirely up to you, the end user and you must pay for the rental for as long as you have it checked out whether you use it or not.
This is the reason we give you a FREE demo for unlimited use on practice accounts so you can feel completely comfortable before considering its use on a live account.
This free demo uses the same code as the program you would activate to use on a live account, should you choose to do so. Please do not do this until you feel completely comfortable with how you are going to use this software.
At this time we do not teach a basic Forex course. If you need to learn about Forex trading, there is an abundance of information available for free on the internet. You may also contact your broker with any questions or concerns. In order to formulate strategies on how you might use PowerTrader, you may want to have a basic knowledge of how this market works.
We make no claims that you will have success using this tool. Your experience using our tools is your responsibility.
Some people you meet may want to give you trading advice or you may elicit help from someone you feel has more experience than you do. If you use any one else's advice or trading strategy you still are ultimately responsible for the outcome. Hopefully you have a positive experience but if you don't then the only one you can blame is yourself. Some people grieve over the loss of money like others grieve over the loss of a loved one. You may go through a period of denial and want to find someone or something to blame it on.
Most brokers ask you questions about you finances to determine if the money you are about to open your account with will cause you financial ruin if you lose it. Most people would not go to a casino and bet their house payment because they could lose it. However the casino dose not take any steps to prevent this from happening. So if you lose your money on a bad bet do you blame the casino for your loss. You should never complain to anyone that you lost money you could not afford to lose because you are admitting you are not capable of managing your own life.
Adults take responsibility for their actions.Only children blame someone else. If you have failed in any aspect of your life you must ask yourself if you did all you could do, did you learn all there is to know and were you prepared for what was unknown. As far as currency trading goes, if you are losing money and you don't know what to do about it, you always have the power to pull the plug on the account and start over with a practice account. Greed is the biggest enemy of success in currency trading and it is the greed that belongs to you and you alone.
Even with extensive practice with your own strategies, there is still large risk involved with Forex trading. Your tolerance for risk is between you and your broker at the time you open your account.
